*additional team may be formed to play in another league if player numbers & interest support
• 13-14U (Juniors) - to be confirmed

Evaluations for MAALL/MPLL Summer teams will be held on Thursday, May 18th, 6pm at Ginty Field. A make-up date will be communicated as needed. All interested players must participate in the evaluation to be considered.

For 10U-12U Williamsport Tournament ONLY:
All-Star teams are chosen with the intent of competing at the highest level. Every All-Star candidate must meet the following criteria: eligibility, availability, ability and attitude/effort. Summer All Start Tryout evaluations and coach input will be utilized to make team selections.
Should your player be selected to the team, you are confirming your commitment to the summer All-Star team.

• Players must meet age eligibility requirements. Ages for All-Star teams shall be determined using the official Little League “League Age” Baseball & Softball rules.
• Players must have played in at least 8 regular season games

Being involved in All-Stars requires a level of dedication and commitment beyond the normal requirements of a regular season. All-Star Tournament play is highly competitive and will require more focus and a committed effort to succeed on the part of the players and their parents. Please carefully consider if you are willing to make this commitment.

• Parents are responsible for providing MAALL documentation needed to prove age and residency eligibility. Parents will be provided detailed guidance on the documents required once teams are confirmed.

• Players must be available for all practices and all games. Beginning in mid-June, players should expect 6 practices/games per week from the start of the summer season until the final game. Parents are responsible for ensuring players attend all practices and games.

• Depending on your level of play, when the tournaments start and how far in the tournament your team advances, your player’s All Stars experience could end up lasting through the month of July or longer. More specifically, Williamsport tournaments are divided into the following:

District tournament: Play against local towns around Morristown. If the team wins its district tournament, it advances to sectionals.
Sectionals: Play against teams in northern NJ who also won their respective district tournament. If the team wins its sectional tournament, it advances to states.
State tournament: Play against teams from all over NJ who also won their respective sectional tournament. If the team wins its state tournament, it advances to regionals.
Regional tournament: Play against teams from other states who also won their respective state tournament.

• Mandatory Play Rules - Tournament Rules differ from Regular Season Rules in many ways, one being the mandatory play requirements. No player will be selected to a team to simply sit in the dugout, but please be aware that due to many variables your player may not play beyond the minimum playing time required.

• Games will be played both on weekdays and weekends.

• Parent volunteers will be required for home games to participate in various tournament game tasks such as Field Set Up, Scoreboard, Announcing, Bookkeeping, Pitch Counting.

For 7U-9U Tournament Teams ONLY:
• Teams are first formed based upon interest/registration. If there are more players than roster spots, evaluations and coach input will be utilized to make team selections.
• Beginning in mid-June, players should expect 3-4 practices/games per week until the end of July.
• Players should be committed to making most of the games and practices.
• Expect ~10-12 games for the regular season + playoff games.
• Games will be played in the local area, either at Ginty or traveling to other towns on both weekdays and weekends.
• Expect players to rotate positions more frequently
